AVCOR
employs a team of seasoned professionals with significant operational,
management, and consulting experience. We’ve
worked on college and university campuses and in a diverse array of
industries designing and implementing client-focused solutions. AVCOR
was co-founded in 2001 with a goal of providing support for organizations
in transformation. Although AVCOR offers a wide variety of general
consulting services, our focus is in applying transformation support
in higher education using best practices from a full range of
industry, government, and higher education client experiences.

management oversight of the day-to-day business operations of AVCOR Consulting.

Scott Nostaja, President and CEO
Mr. Nostaja, co-founder of AVCOR Consulting, has led major strategic,
operational and organizational transformations for several leading
institutions including the University
of California, Santa Cruz and the State University of New York
at Buffalo.
He has served as a senior level advisor to University Presidents,
Chancellors and other high-level administrators. Mr. Nostaja also has
extensive experience in the private sector and has held senior level
roles at Universal Studios, Inc., Sony Pictures Entertainment, CBS,
Inc., and Andersen Consulting. While at Andersen, he served as a
prominent leader in its Change Management Practice. At Universal
Studios, he served as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources
and Administration.

M. Scott Morris, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating
Officer
Mr. Morris is a co-founder of AVCOR Consulting, a specialist in
organizational change management, and has served as a senior advisor
to academic leaders across the country. As Executive Director for Strategic
Planning at the State University of New York at Buffalo he played a leading role in
the development of academic planning models and the identification of
strategic differentiators. He
leads the firm’s process re-engineering and systems
integrations practices; and has extensive experience in the areas of
facilities and work management, payroll and time & attendance,
enterprise information technology system, and extended education. Mr.
Morris is an instructor in the field of customer service management
for California State University,
Long Beach,
and a guest lecturer for the university's Master's of Global
Logistics program.

Mel Barracliffe, Senior Vice President
Prior to joining AVCOR, Mr. Barracliffe was a partner in Ernst & Young’s High Growth Consulting practice. Mr.
Barracliffe was one of the original architects and authors of Ernst
and Young’s Fusion and Navigator Systems SeriesSM methodologies and was formerly the
director of Ernst and Young’s Center for
Business Transformation in Las Colinas, Texas. He has more than 26 years
of experience in the U.S.,
U.K, and Canada
applying information technology to transform businesses.
